Baltic bees collect Raw Linden Honey during the blooming summer months resulting in a sweet superfood that’s as nutritional as it is healthy. Commonly referred to as the tree of life and health by the Ancient Greeks, the linden tree produces a bright, fragrant and pleasant sweet raw honey with an exacting herbal aftertaste that’s both delicious and nutritious. Due to its taste and quality, linden honey is a Baltic alternative to manuka honey.
Health Benefits
Also called lime/basswood tree, the linden tree provides bees with a highly ranked honey. Linden honey provides essential vitamins and minerals, which promote health and wellness. Chalked full of vitamin B, vitamin C, biotin and niacin, Raw Linden Honey is also a rich source of minerals, including zinc, calcium, potassium and magnesium. The herbal and floral notes make linden honey unique for a variety of culinary applications. Complimentary for a variety of cheeses or fresh vegetables, it creates the ideal combination with fresh lemons and lukewarm water for a soothing booster - Honey Lemon Water. Whether you bake it, glaze it, or dress the salad with it, you won’t be disappointed.

Crystallisation: You may notice that over time, all Bee Baltic honey changes its structure and sets (crystallises). Additionally, you may see beautiful light patterns forming on the walls of the jar. These light patterns are commonly known across Baltic beekeepers as the "honey frost". Crystallisation and changes in colour are all signs of natural, raw, unpasteurised, and unprocessed honey. Should crystallisation occur, gently warm the jar in hot water.
