Collected by bees from oilseed rape flowers in late spring. Rapeseed honey is also widely known as oilseed honey or canola honey. This white creamy honey is smooth in texture and soothingly mild in taste. While runny it is almost see-through, however, once it crystallises you might actually say - honey turned white.
The light notes of this spring honey make it unique for many types of culinary applications. Bake it, glaze it or dress the salad with it. Our pure white honey is the perfect alternative to sugar as a natural sweetener.
Rapeseed honey benefits are not inferior to other types of honey. Being part of the spring honey family, it has a wealth of trace elements and vitamins and highly active antibacterial properties, making it suitable for the prevention and treatment of periodontitis. It is especially suitable for the elderly, useful for people with atherosclerosis, some other diseases. It is used to reduce increased stomach acidity, to treat liver diseases. Widely used as a sugar substitute. Rapeseed honey works fast to relieve the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion by containing anti-acidic properties to neutralise excess stomach acid.
Store in a cool, dry place. It is a natural characteristic of raw honey to set (crystallise). Should crystallisation occur, gently warm the jar in hot water.

I bought the Rapeseed Honey because I read it could help reduce stomach acid and I also enjoy a more 'set' honey. Time will tell about the health benefit, but it has a lovely taste. Very quickly despatched too. Thanks!
